Earlier this week, Google shared their latest & greatest. There have been some great updates happening in the Google’s G Suite for Education area. Many of these should be very exciting to both educators and general users of the G Suite Apps. Below are some slides from their G Suite November Update. EXCITING UPDATES!
- GOOGLE CLASSROOM
- Teachers & Students can now ANNOTATE documents on mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android phones & tablets)
- Google Classroom can now be set up for ALL types learners (not just those with education or non-profit accounts!

Gradebooks, SIS, and other apps can now sync grades and assignments with Classroom. (NO Blackbaud or Canvas yet!)
- GOOGLE SLIDES
- Major optimization features & updates, (including integration between Google Keep & Slides, Add-Ons that include looking for Adobe stock images while in Slides)
- GOOGLE DOCS
- Columns! You can now add columns to your documents. In the drop-down menu, just go to: [Forma] > [Columns]
- CHROMEBOOKS
